With precision fermentation technology, we use microbes to produce lactoferrin, a dairy-based functional ingredient that can enhance everyday food products and much more.
STEP 1: IDENTIFY & CODE
We start with identifying the genetic sequence of lactoferrin. Then, we source for microbes into which we can insert this sequence.
STEP 2: GROW & PRODUCE
We transfer microbes to a fermenter and feed them nutrients so they can produce ingredients based on coded instructions.
STEP 3: PURIFY & INSPECT
We separate ingredients from microbe cells and commence safety checks.
STEP 4: DISTRIBUTE
We distribute to our partners and they add LF+ to their products.

STEP 1: OBTAINING
We start the process by obtaining mammary gland cells from various sources, including milk.
STEP 2: MULTIPLYING
We multiply these cells in our growth media, then put them in our proprietary lactation media, a liquid of various components that mimic the condition within living mammals.
STEP 3: CREATING
The cells then convert this lactation media into milk products. The cell-based approach allows us to create the naturally occurring ingredients within animal or human milk.
